i was so blessed this week. we were out in the driveway for our typical 4 o'clock, let the kids roam until the dads get home, hang out experience. and little matt was up to something. that boy was just talkin' and talkin'! ok, not TALKING. but cooing and gooing and it sure seemed like he was interacting with "r" in ways we hadn't seen in a long time. or ever! these moments are few, but they are so precious. we know they won't last forever, so in a frenzy, i grabbed the camera, to help make them last even a BIT longer.... (oh you have to click on the images to see them in full. not sure why.)
WOW. I just had to scroll back and read my comment from March 6th. God and I had a little talk. You wanted a smile...I asked God "please, just a smile!". I don't know about you, but those pictures are absolutely priceless. Thank you so much for sharing them with the rest of us.

Hi, I have been following your story for awhile--I believe Harper's mommy or maybe McMama posted Matt as a prayer request awhile ago! Anyway, I have been praying for Matt and your entire family! I wanted to affirm the service you have so obediently said "yes" to! You have taken this child and loved him to the fullest despite his prognosis or him not being "yours"! You have shown him the most earthly form of Christ's love, unconditional and full of grace! For that, this little man is so blessed and I believe that your lives will be blessed!
