I woke with a heavy heart this morning for Matt. The first thing I did was check your blog, and saw the beautiful book of "e's". That is one special little girl. I cried for you then too. Blessings for you all in this time.

  7. I am so sorry for the loss and also so happy for little Matt to be in Jesus arms now.
He will be there watching over his siblings and his loving parents and waiting for you guys.
He will be there smiling down on all the poeple who have given him so much love, who have prayed for him, thought about him, loved on him.
Its so bittersweat. I found this site yesterday, I read through everything and fell in love with that little boy immediately. He is just perfect. His eyes are gorgeous, his skin looks so soft. I am so glad I got to read about his short but wonderful life, I am glad you let us take part in his journey, in your journey.
I am praying for you guys for strength and comfort and for little Matt, but I am sure he is happy, pain free and healed.
    Much LOVE from Germany

  10. I think of the following verses when I think of your family and how you reached out to care for Matt. I pray you will comforted in an extraordinary way for what you have done is extraordinary and a great expression of Godly love.

Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

  11. Little Matt, you're whole and complete and pain-free now...I rejoice for you! But I grieve with those you left behind, praying for peace, that perfect peace that passes understanding, to flow over your family right now.

Thank You, Lord, for comforting Matt's family in their sorrow. Thank You for allowing all of us to share in Matt's brief life. Amen

  13. Mourning and rejoicing with you. For Matt:

    Home to heaven,
    Home to Jesus,
    Home to freedom
    From this flesh.

    Praise God for life,
    Both long and short.
    Praise God for life,
    Birth and rebirth.

    God, who makes
    Not one mistake.
    God, who’s children
    He makes whole.

    Mourn, we will
    For earthly loss.
    Rejoice, we will
    For heavenly gain.

    Thanks be to God
    For Matt’s sweet life.
    Thanks be to God
    For lives Matt touched.
